FEES AND STATIONERY

Mount Carmel College prides itself on providing quality, innovative and accessible Catholic education to all families, regardless of income level. Our motto 'Caritas et Dignitas' (Love and Dignity) is at the heart of who we are as a Josephite School, and as such, our Fees Policy ensures the dignity and confidence of all students and their families.

To ensure continuity of our competitive, low fee structure we depend upon the reliable and prompt payment of fees from families, and we welcome the opportunity to discuss any aspect of our fee structure and negotiate a payment plan suitable for families and the College.

The College does not accept liability for damage or loss of any personal possessions of students while on College grounds. Insurance cover for a student’s personal possessions is the responsibility of parents/caregivers.

As part of our duty of care to all students and if it is deemed necessary, an ambulance will be organised. It is important that parents/caregivers are aware that Mount Carmel College ambulance cover is only applicable to accidents - not pre-existing medical conditions. It is the responsibility of parents/caregivers to consider personal ambulance cover for their child should the need arise.

The School Card Scheme provides financial assistance towards educational expenses to families who meet the eligibility criteria.

Youth Allowance provides assistance from the Commonwealth Government to students 16 years and over who are undertaking full-time secondary studies.

Students become eligible to receive payments on their 16th birthday and Youth Allowance is payable fortnightly. The amount of allowance payable is determined by the family’s income.
